Welcome
This Web site has been developed to showcase my Emporia State University, School of Library and Information Management (SLIM), Masters of Library Science portfolio. The theme of this site is nurture information. For anything to grow it needs to be tended, supplied space and cared for. These actions are embodied in the word nurture. All knowledge, in all forms is embodied in the word information. As a future information professional my goal is to "nurture information" through my work and personal life in as many ways possible. While visiting my site please take the latest poll on your right: How do you nurture information? I have included three sections in my portfolio in the menu to the left including SLIM program outcomes, professional values and my resume. These sections demonstrate that I have learned and mastered the skills, theory and concepts necessary to be granted an MLS. The SLIM program requires that all MLS students meet or exceed the following eight outcomes and five values. Outcomes: 1.
